Dr. Yanyan Shen obtained her Ph.D. in Management from Renmin University of China in 2022. Since December 2022, she has been affiliated with the Business School of Beijing Technology and Business University as a faculty member. Her primary research interests encompass corporate governance, corporate finance, financial analysts, and digital transformation. Dr. Shen’s research endeavors have been bolstered by funding from one project under the National Social Science Fund of China and another from the Beijing National Science Foundation. She has an impressive publication record, with over 10 articles featured in prominent Chinese journals such as the Journal of World Economy, Accounting Research, and Auditing Research, as well as in esteemed international journals like the Journal of Corporate Finance, The British Accounting Review, and the Pacific-basin Finance Journal. In recognition of her scholarly achievements, Dr. Shen has been honored with the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from Renmin University of China and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Philosophy and Social Science Award.
